Regina makes it more than just a trip! It’s an adventure for the senses, it’s connecting with other wonderful women, and most of all it’s remembering who you are and what you’re capable of. I see, taste and experience beautiful things every time I’m with Duende Retreats and the South of France was no exception. It fills my cup and leaves me wanting more all at the same time. This is living!

I adore Amanda and Duende Retreats! Amanda is so authentic and put together such an amazing trip with some fabulous women! Our accommodations were so incredibly charming and the details of the trip were so unique and well planned. I LOVED it and can't wait to go on another trip!

Lovely locations. Well curated. Friendly and competent guidance. Ability to quickly pivot if something unexpected happens. Attentive to each person on trip. Seem to genuinely enjoy what they do.

This was my first solo trip after the loss of my husband. I knew the destination sounded amazing, but I did not know that the views and the company could not be matched! This was a much needed week of restoration, and a reminder to live your life. Life can require you to carry so much each day, but for this one week, we carried each other. So pleasantly surprised by this experience. You can enjoy free time, or follow the itinerary. Once you see how much thought, and detail Regina puts into each day of the retreat, you won’t want to miss a minute. Take the trip!

The difference in this Duende Retreat and my first retreat is that with the South of France trip I knew half of the group. On this trip we tended to separate into our 2 groups at meal times or in vans but I don't know that that was a bad thing. On the last morning of tours, I did end up on the van with the guests I didn't know is well and it was lovely getting to know them except for some political expressions that I wish hadn't come up. I just kept quiet and enjoyed the scenery. Because we were not at a villa with a gathering spot, as a single traveller, I would have liked to have had a place to hangout and visit , maybe with water bottles or soda. I do suggest having drinking water more accessible - even if it's for purchase. The meals were all superb! I especially enjoyed the lunch at Eze and the lunch on the Lerins Island after the wine tour. I would have added a stop at a French Bakery as I got home and realized I hadn't had a macaroon! Tour favorites were Eze, Lerin Islands, Nice, & the Rothschild Villa. For Monaco and Cannes it would be nice to offer a walking tour option for those wanting some history instead of shopping. Agathe and Amanda were both attentive and delightful tour leaders. It was a pleasure getting to know them both. That being said, Regina was missed, as she is the heart and soul of Duende Retreats. I don't know when I click "submit review" if there will be more questions or if I will be ending my survey here. If that is the case, thank you for curating a lovely experience on the French Riviera. I know that France is somewhere I'm not finished with and hope to come back one day!
